ZAP! POW! BAM! The Superhero The Golden Age of Comic Books, 1938-1950
 
SPA staff is gearing up for the opening of the latest TheGallery@theLibrary exhibition, ZAP! POW! BAM! The Superhero The Golden Age of Comic Books, 1938-1950. This exhibition will display sketches from the original creators of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman.
Another event that Program Assistant Rasheda Smith is excited for, Phoenix Comicon (http://www.phoenixcomicon.com/)! Scottsdale Public Art and the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art will be seated at table #758 at this year's event May 26-29. Passes are still available for online purchase, purchase at the door will cost you more. This is a great venue to introduce the exhibition and to meet new people who may have never heard of SPA or SMoCA before.
